GETTING TO KNOW NESLIE

            I was born in Solsona, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. It was just a small town but there I witnessed great memories that will be cherished forever. September 8, 1998, there was a child who was born crying buckled with warm hands and there I discovered the love of the world.

            I was the second son of Ernesto Espiritu and Felicitas Espiritu who were actually just a proof of an arranged marriage. According to them, it was not easy but because of the idea that “love is a choice and yet a sacrifice” they surpass any problems regarding their differences, misunderstanding and insecurities.

            Having my name is also a big deal for everyone, I think. Well, basically it was derived from my parent’s name. Nes is from my father’s and Li is from my mother’s name.
